Here’s a gallery of some of my favourite images of wedding day details from 2024. There’s so much time and effort put in to these little wedding details that they have to be celebrated and photographed beautifully almost as much as the people at your wedding.
From the early morning bridal preparations, the groom prep and the table decor – not to mention the flowers! Here’s 3 tips to consider to make your photographers job a little easier…
1. Keep all your details and accessories in one place.
Before you sit down with your make-up artist collate as many of your bridal details together as you can so your photographer can create some magic. For example your shoes, dress, jewellery, perfume and accessories. Also don’t forget to bring along one of your invites as this image will make a gorgeous beginning to your online gallery. If your getting ready room is hectic and messy then its often nice to collect all the details for a photoshoot in the bridal suite. This can be a lovely place to get in to your dress too as it’ll be clean, stylish and private.
2. Keep your bouquet on hand or even ask your florist for a few extra single flowers.
Using your bouquet as a background for jewellery photo’s is a great way to tie in your colour theme and again makes your gallery look cohesive and so so beautiful.
3. Schedule time for table details shots.
Your photographer will find time to pop in to your dining room once the wedding breakfast tables are set up. Do work out this with them at your final meeting as you’ll want some gorgeous images of all your hard work before everyone goes in and messes it all up.
