Why you should have a printed wedding album

a wedding album standing up and showing open pages

Don’t we always say after every holiday or big family event that we’ll make an album – then we never do. Our images sit in the Cloud waiting silently for years until we post one or two on social media. Well what about after something massive like your wedding day.

Every couple gets a full extensive gallery of their digital files to treasure forever but in the future when you have guests, imagine being able to whip out your beautifully printed album. Re-living your day in a short story rather than poring through hundreds of digital files to find the right one.

Albums can vary from a 12″ square ‘story telling’ book to larger format ‘coffee table’ albums and even add smaller 8″ ‘parent’ books which make lovely presents for your family, especially if they provided a lot of help in your planning process.

  1. Coffee Table Books

These are large format, landscape orientated, high end albums to adorn your coffee table. Much like as if you had a designer book or two. They are meant for viewing, handling, sharing around and enjoying as much as possible. Don’t leave them in a box at the back of your wardrobe!

They have x24 pages (which is x12 spreads) and mainly hold your large, full page ICONIC images. With the emphasis on random quality rather than the story of your day.

2. Legacy Albums

My ‘legacy’ albums are my story books. These 12 spread albums follow the course of your day from bridal prep to your evening party. Some pages are heavy in order to show all your favourite moments integrated by the odd large image to give the book some pace and flow.

Smaller 8″ square ‘parent’ albums are exact copies of the larger 12″ square format. These make wonderful gifts for important family and friends who may have helped you out a lot in the build up to your wedding.

My albums come in gorgeous wooden ‘keepsake’ boxes with your names and date etched on the front and all come with lay flat card pages as standard. There’s also a really wide range of cover materials and colours. So you can match to the colours of your wedding theme.

3. Additional items

There’s lots of other ways to showcase your beautiful images to. From leather wrap around ‘journal’ books to framed prints and canvases. I also offer cute little polaroid pouches which are great for keeping on the coffee table (along with your coffee table book). If you’ve added the polaroid pouch to your package then basically I carry my polaroid camera around with me all day and take a selection of super edgy, arty polaroids to fill the pouch, which I then GIFT to you at the end of your wedding day or weekend event.

In conclusion its all in my little SHOP brochure. Get your download below and let me know if you have any questions. Everything can be added to a package at the time of booking or even added at a later date. Even a year or so AFTER your wedding.
